Why I work this way
The story behind the subtle.
I've been a nurse since 2010 and a nurse practitioner since 2018. Before founding VIVE, I worked in the NICU, neuro step-down, endoscopy, pulmonary, pain management and nursing education.
Every one of those shaped how I treat you today. The NICU taught me precision and a gentle hand. Pain management taught me how much comfort matters. Teaching nurses taught me to explain everything clearly, so you never wonder what's happening. And all of it taught me that trust is everything, especially when someone lets you near their face.
When I moved into injectables, I kept meeting women who had been overfilled, overcharged, or rushed through appointments that never felt like a conversation. A lot of them had sworn off treatment altogether.
So I got obsessed with doing it differently. I made sure our whole team is certified, both online and in person, in every single treatment we offer, with retraining and recertification every year. I studied facial anatomy far beyond the basics and built my whole process around starting conservative and adjusting together.
There's no single certificate that makes someone a great aesthetic nurse practitioner. For me, it's a collection of experience and a drive to always ask why.
These days my goal isn't the most dramatic before-and-after. It's that you still love your face six months from now, and so does everyone who sees it.
